At the museum, foreign tourists will get a look at what gaming was like behind the “Iron Curtain” while Russians might remember playing these games and enjoy the nostalgia. After weeks of gagging on noxious fumes from surrounding wildfires and melting under 100-degree temperatures, not to mention fretting over radioactive smoke, Muscovites are finally in the clear.
A day after breaking the record daily high for the 22nd time this summer, temperatures here on Thursday dropped to a more customary 70 degrees, with an almost giddy Russian news media reporting that the next few days would bring still cooler weather.
